found out hubby has low T

well we found out my hubby has low t. not sure if thats the reason i havent gotten pregnant yet or not but he starts the shots next month. his dr said if he has low sperm count the treatment will either help or lower it further. weve decided at this point not to stress too much. im not going on bc but we are going to wait a year oor so to do actual fertiility testing. if it happens before then great, if not im ok with that too. i have 2 great girls and would love to have a baby with my amazing new husband but leaving it up to god for a while

My DH has low T as well. He had it tested at the same time he had a full seman analysis. His SA came back great! 100 million sperm, great motility etc. The doctors were surprised that despite the low T, his SA was so great. Our doctor joked "imagine how high it would be if he had normal T level! He'd have super sperm!" But then the doctor explained he didn't want to treat DH for his low T because treatment can have the opposit affect, just like your doctor said and can lower his SA. Eventually my DH will need to have his low T treated because it can cause other problems for men like low bone density issues, lethargy etc. But our doctor doesn't want to do it until we are done with fertility treatments. We are done for now, but want another baby after this one so he will probably wait. Good luck to you guys!

My hubby has low T too and the doctor keeps wanting to give him medicine but he refuses. We have an almost 7 month old together, who was conceived on birth control pills, lol. His sperm count is fine. Good luck to you!!

he wants to take the medicine, says he is sick of no energy, being depressed with no real reson and losing all his muscles.... if it fixes any of it its worth it to him. he works in corrections and has to be on top of his game for safety. i hope it helps!

Hopefully it helps. I think my hubby's isn't very low because he doesn't have any of those symptoms. He also says he's afraid it would make him more agressive, lol. He's a nut. I hope everything works out for you both!
